Eastern Woodland Women Virtual Gathering

The Eastern Woodland Women Virtual Gathering is a space for women from our nations and sister tribes to come together in community, across generations, to share knowledge, stories, and strength.

Our first gathering, Rooted in Story, will open with introductions and a welcoming circle. Together, we will hear teachings on creation stories, clan systems, and the sacred role of women as life-givers and protectors of lineage. We will then reflect and share in circle around the guiding question:

“What stories ground you as an Eastern Woodland woman?”

This gathering is the beginning of a series dedicated to honoring our matriarchs, reconnecting to traditional roles, and strengthening kinship ties for the next seven generations.

All women, daughters, mothers, aunties, grandmothers, and Two-Spirit relatives are welcome to join.
